After earning a degree in electrical engineering from Georgia Tech, Sagen set his sights on returning to Japan, his birthplace. His journey was filled with adventure and determination as he interned at BMW, worked in F&B to fund his travels, and even backpacked to Tokyo from Thailand.

Throughout his journey, Sagen's steadfast companion has been his beloved wife, Mami, with whom he has been happily married for 11 years. Together, they share the joy of raising their 10-year-old son, a testament to their bond's strength and fulfillment in the family.
