The meditative flow of the conversation was like taking a scenic hike through nature and enjoying different talking points. Established and well known in our community as the yoga ambassador, Michael Glenn shares insights of his "unplanned life" and the journey to yoga, where he realizes daily that life has no stopping points. Michael is a writer and, through his copywriting business, publishes articles. He enjoys riding his bicycle and frequently tours out to neighboring prefectures, stopping to go on hikes. I am intrigued by his understanding of the body and mind, the confluence from which the basis of yogic teaching arises. Michael says that yoga is a big world; with multiple facets, such as spiritual, philosophical, physical practice, and therapeutic. His clients often come with specific issues, and he designs practices that address them because yoga has a quality of inducing relaxation. "A body under stress can’t heal," says Michael, and with this in mind, his yoga journey is taking another turn towards pranayama (meditation).
