Mansour Diagne was gracious to stop by before his business trips to Qatar and Kenya. He is from Senegal and is multilingual, with Wolof, French, Arabic, English, and Japanese under his belt. Mansour comes from a line of devout Muslims, his grandfather being a Hafiz, and it gave me goosebumps to hear him recite a verse from the Quran and translate it into English! He shared a revelation about Islam that few people know. Mansour’s journey in Japan is inspiring: from tutoring Arabic and French to African diplomats in Tokyo, working in the TV production industry, to getting involved with solar energy. His efforts have been a fulcrum in bringing clean energy (solar) to African countries.
