Raised in Tokyo's ex-pat community until age 10, significant acclimation was necessary when his family relocated to Stuttgart, Germany. At school, his mixed ethnicity drew the attention of the bullies, and he toughened up quickly. SINCE HE STARTED FREELANCING HIS TRANSLATION SERVICES IN GERMANY, George P. Hansen has been in the automotive industry and has devoted 26 years to GM. He is in charge of the strategic partnership between GM and Honda for the path to "zero-zero-zero." George is excited about changing times and transitioning to an emission-free, autonomous vehicular future.
